In my very first video review, I was lucky privileged to taste and review the Prémiový ležák 450 from the Svijany brewery. Prémiový ležák translates into Premium lager and I did find it to be premium indeed.
Initially the beer was brewed as a special on the occasion of the Svijany brewery’s 450th anniversary, however, following a great amount of positive feedback from beer lovers, the brewery decided to keep it on as part of the permanent offering. Nowadays, the Svijany 450 prémiový ležák is one of the most sought after beers the brewery has to offer and has well earned its place on the supermarket shelves.
Brewed from selected malt and hopped with Žatec semi-early red hops, the Svijany 450 Premium Lager Beer maturs in classic lager tanks. It is a full bready beer with a pleasant and intense mild bitterness and like all the Svijany beers, it comes unpasteurized which adds to its freshness. Svijany 450 Premium Lager comes in 500ml bottles and cans, 2l special collectors cans and 5 liter mini-kegs. In kegs it is available in 15l, 30l and 50l kegs.
